Facebook recently announced their newest feature built into Facebook on desktop and mobile called “Sports Stadium” which serves as a dedicated place to experience sports in real-time with friends, experts, athletes, and the entire world.
There are more nearly 700 million sports fans on Facebook who already use the platform to celebrate victories, trash talk with friends, and follow along with their favorite players and teams.
Now, Facebook’s “Sports Stadium” will allow people to get closer to the game, statistics, and conversations happening around the globe, and feel like they’re watching a game inside the arena with friends.

Some of Sports Stadium’s features allow you to see live scores, stats, a play-by-play feed, posts and comments from friends, sports industry experts and media personalities, and content from teams, leagues, journalists, and others in sports.
Facebook is initially rolling out Sports Stadium for American football games, with support for other sports like basketball, soccer, and more coming soon. The experience is available now on iPhone in the US, and will expand to other platforms in the coming weeks. Just search for a team or game in Facebook’s search bar to find the Sports Stadium experience.
